About

I'm Emily Pellegrini, an artist & designer based in San Francisco. I grew up in Oakland, and though I left home to attend the University of Southern California, NorCal's stunning landscape drew me back.

I am a landscape artist at heart, but I also draw inspiration from folklore, mythology, and fantasy. As a queer person with a Catholic upbringing, I love to pick apart traditional stories, techniques, and "rules."

I primarily identify as a painter & illustrator, but love to work in linocut, etching, engraving and ceramics. I relish an "illustration-heavy" graphic design project.

When I am not creating, you can find me dancing, backpacking, running or cooking. I currently work as a Park Ranger at Muir Woods National Monument, drawing inspiration from California's ancient, towering trees.
